2012 Family Fun Day in Hobart

    Hey all

    I have just been informed that our family fun day down here will be held on 25th of Feb. It will once again be run by the Hobart Richmond Supporters Group. We will have four players in attendance (not sure who yet, Jack Riewoldt is sure to be one of them. Last year we were assured to get 4 well known players this year due to the success of last year. Oh and also Dimma has expressed he wants to come down as well and possibly Benny G, but the finer details need to be sorted).

    We will be having a meeting next Wednesday so I hope to have more details then.

    That sounds very promising, flawed, and good to hear that the Hobart group is strong enough to attract that sort of interest from RFC - especially with Norf signing that contract recently.

    To be honest TBR, you annoy the hell out of me....however having said that I have really enjoyed your posts over the last few weeks when you have been serious and not tried to belittle other people. I view you as a very intelligent person with some excellent opinions and insight into footy, yet you seem to prefer to cause trouble and pissing people off over having a decent discussion. I have found a lot of your "snide" remarks to be amusing, and did have a chuckle at the one above. I just feel you on purpose go that extra step to far to upset people sometimes (well a lot of the time in fact :) )

    They had a meeting last night, I did not attend due to being a little sick. Caught up with one of the other committee members today though.

    Things are progressing nicely. Only bad thing is the fact that it will only be the day event, no night time event at the Talbot this year due to the NAB cup and players having to get back to Melbourne ASAP.

    We have been told that four players are pretty much confirmed, with the proviso that things could change between now and then. However, it looks likely that Jack Riewoldt, Jeromey Webberley, Angus Graham, and Jake King will be the four coming down. So we will have three Tassie boys and the Pushup King.

    Will let you know more details when I know them.

    Oh also....we may be having a function towards the end of the season that may interest a few of you mainlanders into coming down to attend. Will let you know when I can.
